Valentine's Day

For our Valentine's this year we decided to make our own. So I have melted crayons before but I thought we would just do it with a V-Day theme.

You will need:
Crayons (without wrapper)
Cut out hearts (optional)
Ribbon (optional)
Oven
Mold of some sort

First you will need to remove the wrapper from your crayons then break your crayons as small as they can. Kids love this part! And you will put the crayons in the molds.

Put in the oven at 375 F In a metal mold like cupcakes only for about 10 min. In my ceramic mold it took a little longer. You will want to keep an eye on them. They melt quickly.

Let them cool completely before removing them from mold.

Then I figure out where I want it on my heart.

Use a hole punch to punch holes for the ribbon.

Tie ribbon through and write your message on the heart! And they are ready to hand out!

Fun Valentines to pass out that other kids will enjoy! The best part is the kids get to help make them!
